Old Flannel Cat with Ball

This wonderful little straw-filled flannel-covered feline from the early 20th C.  has lots of charm and personality.

This sweet kitty has got a few calico patches as well as grey stripes theorem-painted on her body.  She still retains her original glass eyes, silk ribbon with brass bell as well her old store price tag.  In faint pencil you can still see her original price of 25 cents.  But her most wonderful feature is the multi-color Bakelite ball clasped between her forepaws. And as that is not quite enough, the ball is a rattle as well! Measuring 6 ½ inches long from tip of nose to tip of tail and 4 inches tall (not counting the raised tail), she is in excellent condition with only slight signs of wear attendant with age and use.

Recently found, this kitty is just waiting to settle into your cupboard or a beloved cloth doll’s lap.
