There is no mistaking this one: this cat is such a pudge, he’s almost bowlegged!  What he lacks in height, he makes up in girth.

Measuring 7 inches in length and 4 ¼ inches tall, he is fashioned out an off-white cotton flannel, and is entirely hand sewn.  He’s firmly stuffed with what feels like cotton batting.  He’s got plain cotton ears, which are turned down – making him look rather lost.  He still retains his original shoe button eyes, as well as black and cream cotton floss whickers.

He is in excellent condition with some signs of wear attendant with age and use.  Most of the flannel nap is gone, but that does not detract from his charm and whimsy.  It is his smaller size that makes him quite rare and wonderful.  Smaller Amish cloth animals are harder to find than their larger cousins.

He was recently purchased directly out of a fellow dealer’s collection.  I held on to him for a bit, just to enjoy his company.  Now it’s time for him to warm someone else’s lap!
