I know I use the term “wow factor” frequently but, to me, it best and succinctly expresses how I feel about the graphic quality of certain items.  So, hence I offer here a pair of socks that present off the charts on the WOW factor scale!

Measuring 12 inches long by 3 inches wide, they are in good condition with some signs of wear (mostly small holes in the foot area – see photos) attendant with age and use.

They were purchased with a note pinned to them that reads: “Quite up to date, aren’t they? They are seventy-five years old.  Loaned by Mrs. Brace G. Eddy.”  There is a later addendum to that note that reads: “Oct. 20, 1952 – now over 100 years old.”

As if I had to tell you, what makes these socks so special is their very graphic combination of design and color making them the best for Christmas display ever. Found in New England.
