Talk about sweet, let alone a wonderful representation of the kind of Mennonite folk art we love: I offer this cloth pup.

Measuring a mere 4 inches in length, he stands as tall as he is long, and is about 1 ½ inches across the chest. He is machine and hand-sewn, hard-stuffed and fashioned out of a cotton crepe upholstery fabric.

This pup still retains his original mourning pin eyes, as well as floss stitched nose and mouth. A nice, finishing touch is the red cotton and gold corded collar with brass bell around his neck.

He was purchased out of a private collection and comes out f a Mennonite household in Lancaster County, PA.

This is one to adopt for you collection!
