Rare and wonderful, this indigo, copperous brown and natural plaid linen runner is simply fabulous. Measuring 16 by 8 inches, it has a hand-stitched hem on two sides and is fringed on the remaining sides with some loss of fringe attendant with age and use. It is in excellent condition with no stains, rips, holes or tears. Found in Lancaster County, PA, it dates to the first half of the 19th C. Tri-colored homespun linens are incredibly hard to find in any shape. This one makes your heart skip a beat.
